Malay Dance

The Malay dance has given the pupils the opportunity to learn various forms or styles of Malay dance that are categorized by its beats (rentak) and rhythm (irama). The four basic genres of Malay dance are Asli, Inang, Joget and Zapin. By learning these basic steps, pupils are then exposed to contemporary and creative dance steps so as to eXcite our pupils. Pupils eXplore various themes so as to become a confident, creative and responsible individuals with the understanding of Malay dance.
